I would like to be unidled for the next dynasty.
After looking over the ruleset, it appears that people can be unidled during a hiatus. This seems like an exploitable problem during a DoV, and should probably be changed. One of a few such minor issues with the DoV rules, which I may have to write proposals for later.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.

Hiatus unidling doesn’t seem massively exploitable (if the difference in voters would be enough to change the outcome of a DoV, that same majority could just propose “end this dynasty” to kill off the new one or the old one), but I suppose a clause about only allowing players who were active at the time of a DoV to vote on it might at least be polite.
