I forgot to add my commentary on this, which is that this is to introduce an incentive for pooling or other cooperative possibilities.

  I’m not too keen. Being able to earn 6 equity per week just through one set of daily actions is a fair chunk, and it goes up to 9 if you’ve got someone willing to pool with you. While pooling is unavoidable, I’d prefer if it was a little more involved than this.

I was assuming that if two Nomicers started doing this, they would get piled on by most of the other Nomicers, so being too blatant gets you in trouble.

I think there’s room to allow Nomicers to get ahead but then attract too much attention to themselves, leading to a requirement for some diplomacy or other negotiations.

This would be more interesting with the numbers reversed (i.e. gain 1 Equity and someone else gains 2), which would make it more explicitly a pooling mechanic (although I think I would dislike it again). This way round, it’s more useful for grinding than pooling – you can just pick someone who’s behind to gain the 1 Influence, and have a mostly free 2 Influence.

My last comment was a bit misworded – I meant that I think swapping the size of the Equity gains would improve this, but that I would still probably vote AGAINST.

”... but no more than three times a week ... provided the Nomicer performing this increase has not reduced the Equity of that other Nomicer within the past 72 hours” is a bit painful for only being tracked in the wiki edit history, if anybody wants to see who can and can’t take the action.
