In “Battles”, replace “If a Monster exists and no Battle is occurring, any Adventurer may initiate a Battle” with:-

If a Monster exists and no Battle is occurring, any Adventurer who is not a Monster may initiate a Battle

If a Battle exists that was initiated by the Monster named The Duke of Waltham, undo the effects of all Battle Actions taken during that battle, then end it.

Nobody fixed this?

The Monster being able to initiate a Battle where it is the first Vanguard, able to take a Human action? I thought so, but maybe people want to go with it.

Ooh, OK. Yeah, I agree. I thought it was just that the Monster could go first.

The Monster still (and always) goes first because it is not Recovering, and “Adventurers may not take Human Battle Actions while there is a Monster who is not Recovering”.

Oh, which I suppose rules out the Monster’s ability to initiate a Battle and take a Human Battle Action as its Vanguard, just in a roundabout way.

Yup. Best the M could do was become vanguard, take a Monster Battle Action, and then idle out as Vanguard. Still, good fix. for

I agree with everything stated in the last three comments, and it’s pretty much why I wasn’t in any particular hurry to fix this relic from the dynasty’s third proposal.  for
