Call for Judgment: Pocket points

Becomes popular, 6-0. Enacted by pokes.

The first game of Giolitti between myself and Jumble has ended, but a peg can’t be awarded because it is contingent on whether we scored our winnows at the opportunities when we ‘may’ have. If we treat occasions where we obviously did so as scoring winnows, by my count the game ended with my 17 points to Jumble’s 6. Consider the final score of the game to be as such, end the game, and award me a peg.

I think it’d be more convenient to track score in the table’s comments.

Winnowing the Winnow will remove the requirement for Score to be publicly tracked. I agree with Bucky that it would be easier to track score in comments (“I play the Queen of Swords and score 1 for l’Aria, taking me to 4.”) than to make it a legal (albeit platonically ignorable) requirement to say nothing but keep a wiki table up to date. Certainly easier to check an opponent’s score if they’ve been announcing it as they go.

Tracking score in comments is a whole other can of worms. If “I play the Queen of Swords and score 1 for l’Aria, taking me to 4.” but doing so actually took me to 5, how much of the comment is invalid?

Under Winnowing the Winnow, that comment would be valid. Your score would secretly be 5, but the move would stand - the only broken rule would be me giving your opponent a peg at the end of the game if I believed you’d only scored 4.

Alright, I edited this to be no ruleset fix considering Winnowing the Winnow will fix it, and just a straightforward gamestate fix.
