We also need a clause about what happens to existing compasses. Something like

“If an item is selected as the contents of a treasure chest, but that item is not defined as an available treasure, then that item has no effect and Richardo ceases to be holding it as soon as he picks it up”

and maybe give ais and Chiiika a refund? I’m a bit torn on that. I’m leaning to “no the compasses have been there a while no refund” but I’d like to at least give them space to give an argument as to why they think they deserve a refund.

The “Remove each existing Northbound Compass, Southbound Compass, Eastbound Compass, and Westbound Compass that is currently in the contents of a treasure chest” clause to me doesn’t necessarily help, because it leaves players in a bind where they don’t want to drop a compass if this passes but do want to drop it if it doesn’t pass. But not really sure if we can do any better. Its probably good enough. The half refund seems very fair.

Fwiw the next run is very likely to start before this enacts.
