Proposal: Premade Rules

Self Killed. Failed by Derrick

Add to the Core Rules a section called “Premade Rules” in the Appendix. Within it, add:

These Premade Rules are useful add-ons that can be optionally included into a game. A Premade Rule is Active or Inactive, and that quality is tracked in the bulleted list below, titled “Premade Rule Status Tracker”. An Inactive Premade Rule has no effect. Each Premade Rule exists under their own Subsection within the “Premade Rules” section.

Premade Rule Status Tracker
-Atomic Actions: Active
-Dormancy: Inactive

Change the hyphens there to bullets.

Move “Atomic Actions” to “Premade Rules” as a subsection, then add the following as another subsection with the header “Dormancy”.

If there are fewer than five Managers, then BlogNomic is Dormant. While BlogNomic is Dormant, actions defined by dynastic rules may not be taken, and proposals may not be submitted.

Aren’t most of the core rules “premade”? I don’t see the point to this, why allow people to turn those rules on and off? What happens if someone flips off the atomic actions or somehow in the future proposals and CfJ are moved to this section and both are turned off?

Im with card on this one, I proposed the move of atomic actions because it is a great addition to the base game. If you are going to make it an “Optional” rule, might as well make all of the core rules optional…
