You probably want to set the synonyms to default, rather than removing them entirely; otherwise, the next Ascension Address will end up breaking unless someone puts them back in the meantime.
u could also just leave them be and set them with a proposal later; as written i think this would just gut that rule
I don’t think you need to set them to default. But if you remove them, then suddenly there are no synonyms defined and so now you can’t replace the leader/general turns.
This is effectively a DEF as this is to do with the theme, something that’s left up to the Emperor to decide. But the Emperors already have implicit votes, and resolving the DEF manually is a way to work around any potential issues with deferentials being broken (we’ve been tinkering with them recently).
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.

in the current form, this could reach a quorum of for votes get enacted and do nothing all before Lemon has a time to read it. but if you make it so it cannot be enacted unless lemon votes on it we wouldn’t have that issue
