We have a provision that “and any images or Templates contained within (or indirectly invoked by Templates contained within) those Wiki Pages are assumed to be Gamestate”, and we have a clause that ensures when a proposal that causes a wiki page to become gamestate is passed that the wiki page gets reset. But we don’t currently extend that reset protection to templates or imagines contained within those wiki pages. This creates possible areas of abuse where someone could modify a template before it becomes gamestate to something other than what the author of the proposal intended.
