In the rule “Searches” replace:

the Villager creating a Search may not have an existing Open Search that they created

with

the Villager creating a Search may not have an existing Open Search that they created and may not have joined another Search that is still Open.

imperial Not sure how big a deal this is. A multi-searcher is still converting Time into Items at the same rate, they’re opening up more Searches for other players to use as well, and they’re running the risk of opponents closing other Searches at inopportune moments.

@Kevan: if we’re not against multi-searching, why is there this clause against it in the first place?

However, if a Villager has joined another Search that is currently Open, they may not join any other Search; any attempt to do so is not considered a valid Response.

I was trying to get consistency in the ruleset by going with what we had established already. If there’s a desire to go the other way, then let’s say that explicitly and get rid of the above restriction. Having this half-restriction is silly.

against I like being able to switch up the search-loop schedule.
