We need players
Our Active Player list is shrinking. Does anyone have any ideas for getting some more players involved?

Hey Kevan, thanks for stopping by. Those are good points. What happened to our FAQ, I wonder? Someone made a suggestion of putting the FAQ on the wiki, so I’ll do that.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
BlogNomic is powered by pMachine ExpressionEngine.

Hmm, there doesn’t actually seem to be any obvious way for new players to join - the sidebar FAQ (with “How do I join?”) has gone, and the FAQ link points to an empty page.
I don’t know how customisable the templates are, here, but a it might be nice to have huge and enthusiastic “hello, you must be a potential new player, here’s what to do” for users who aren’t logged in.
(And the Blogspot page could do with a more catch-all “go to blognomic.com instead” message, probably - it’s still linked from a lot of places, we’re probably losing quite a few people who are skipping the first posting because they don’t think it’s addressed to them.)
But mm, I’ll come back when I’ve got more time and space to hand. Good to see the move to the new domain’s gone so well.
