Add a new rule, with text as follows:
A Player (A) who successfully determines the Styles of three other non-Impossible Players obtains the Diamond, unless Player (A) is Impossible, in which case (s)he does not obtain the Diamond, but instead gains ten Eyes.
We’re headed for mass Impossibility, might as well give someone the chance to win before we’re simply all unable to do so!
Is the parent section (i.e. the one with the full header) your style is in People, History, Geography, Arts and Culture, or Philosophy and Religion?
Is your style eight characters or shorter in length? (including spaces)
Is the number of your Style in its corresponding list 11, 12, 13, or 14?
Is the first letter of your Style A,C,F,G,I or J?
Is the first letter of your Style L, M, N, P, R or W?
Is the number of your Style in its corresponding list 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10?
Is the number of your Style in its corresponding list 2, 3, 4 or 5?
Is the number associated with your Style from its list on the “Wikipedia: Vital articles” page an odd number, which is to say, is it an integer not divisible by two, such as 1, 3, and 5?
Mission: Impossible.

In “Guesses”, change
A Player may spend 1 Eye to add any valid Image to another Player’s Guesses.
to
A Player may spend 1 Eye to add up to five valid Images to another Player’s Guesses.
Is the first letter of your Style contained in the letters of your answer to this question?
Ember, Florw, Skju, and Wakukee go idle after 23, 19, 10, and 10 days of inactivity respectively. Quorum drops to 6.
Does your Style start with a letter in your Hints?
Let’s weed out some Impossible people.

Add a new subrule to “Questions” call called GQS and give it the following text:
At any time a player (A) may spend 3 Eyes to pose a yes or no question to all players (other than themselves) by posting a story post with the title: “Global Question: [Player name]â€. This question must be solely about style and be truthfully answerable by each player without needing to know any other players style. This question shall also be recorded in the appropriate section in the Question wiki.
All players must respond to the question within 72 hours of the question being posted, unless the join or unidle after the question is posted. Otherwise they become impossible.
When responding, they may choose to answer them with a “yes†or a “no†(or any recognizable variants on this binary). If this player does so, they must record the answer both in the initial question post and in the Question wiki.
If it can be proven that a player falesly answered a global questions (e.g. they answered “no†to a question when the answer should have been “yesâ€) that player becomes impossible.
Trying to speed this along and get more of the guessing game aspects back. Don’t see why we can just force everyone who cares enough to start answering questions…

I’m new here. I’m still wrapping my brain around the current ruleset. My thinking is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to *remove* hints once they’re gained.
A player may sacrifice 6 of their Eyes to move 1 of their own Hints to the Hints of another player, provided the other player does not already have the particular Hint. This action may not be taken more than once every 48 hours.

Enact a new subrule of “Hints†entitled “Absorption†with the following text:
If the Number or Letter part of a Player’s Hints includes all of the numbers or letters, respectively, of all other Players’ Hints, other than the first first letter of their Style, or the number of their Style in its corresponding list, then that Player achieves victory.

If “I Stand Corrected” fails, this proposal does nothing.
Enact a new rule entitled “Points”:
Every Player also has a non-negative integer number of Points, tracked in the GNDT column “Points”. An entering player gets the average number of Points among all active Players, rounded up.
Give each Player 10 Points.
Enact a new rule entitled “Teller”:
There is exactly one Player who is the Teller at any given time. When the Teller is done Telling, they shall submit a votable matter post with a title beginning with “BID:”. In the comments of the post, each Player may Bid a number of Points no greater than the number of Points that they have. The Bid may be marked as Enacted once it has been pending for at least 24 hours, and the Player who Bid the most becomes the Teller.
I thought a bidding mechanic might be interesting. Maybe like a sort of temporary emperor?
Yeah, I basically had a week without internet because the router was apparently killed by lightning, so yeah, I wish to unidle, please :)

If the proposal I Stand Corrected passes, then this proposal does noting.
Add a new dynastic rule called “Potatoes” and give it the following text
As a daily action a Player may increase their eyes by one. If a player does not perform this action on a particular day, they may perform it once within the 72 hour period immediately following the day which they did not perform it.
Can speed things up even more if we want, but this should get plenty of eyes flowing.

Enact a new Rule entitled “MacGuffin”, containing the following:
The first Player to Obtain the Diamond achieves victory.
I know starting with a victory condition is in bad taste (for its tendency to make poor midgames by stalling Proposals in favor of grind), but I think having a goal might help avoid a complete cessation of activity. It can also work with several different theme ideas. If anyone else has any better ideas feel free to propose an alternative start.

Repeal all Dynastic Rules.
This happened again; I shouldn’t have supported the poetic Cyclops idea, noble as it was, for the likeliness of it leading to this outcome. I am also proposing a new idea, but in a separate Proposal, as we need a reset, so no gripes with theme set us back more.
Please be hereby notified of my arrival. I am Zefareu. My three intentions are as follows:
(1) To become a player of Blognomic.
(2) There is no second item.
(3) To play Blognomic.
Thank you.

I went to admin “Veni, vidi, vici” as failed a few minutes ago and did everything the normal way but something went wrong. It post completely disappeared off the main page and if you enter the url to find it the page is all messed up with no text. If anyone knows how to fix it I would be appreciative though I have no idea what I did since I’ve done this plenty of times and never had a problem. http://blognomic.com/archive/veni_vidi_vici/

Add a new dynastic rule called “Copying” and give it the following text
As a daily action, a Player (the Challenger) may spend two eyes to Challenge another Player (The Challengee) by making a story post to the blog with the subject “Challenge: [Player name] [hint 1] [hint 2]” where [Player name] is the name of the Challengee, and [hint 1] and [hint 2] are two two different Hints of the same type (i.e. both letters or both numbers). The Challenger must have both of the mentioned Hints in order to make the post.
Within 72 hours of the post being made, the Challengee may respond by either adding [hint 1] or [hint 2] (or both) to their list of hints (provided it isn’t already there).
If, after 72 hours of the post being made, neither [hint 1] or [hint 2] are in the Challengee’s list of hints, any player may add both [hint 1] and [hint 2] to the Challengees Hints.
Lets us fill up peoples hints faster. Costs more than asking questions, but they have to respond (or else). You can’t eliminate someone this way, but you can help narrow down their options.

In Rule 1.2.1 (Idle Players), replace “Admins may render themselves Idle at any time provided they’ve made a post or comment declaring their intent to do so in the past four days.” with:-
Admins may render themselves Idle at any time.
This unnecessary line of bureaucracy was quietly enacted a few dynasties ago. There’s occasionally some unclear concern over the dangers of “silent” idling (“Just look at Purplebeard last Dynasty”), but whatever this means, it doesn’t seem worth the ongoing risk of quorum drifting invisibly out of synch when a self-idling admin forgets this step of the paperwork.

In the rule “Questions” replace
At any time a player (A) may spend 2 Eyes to pose a yes or no question to any player (B) (including themselves)
with
At any time a player (A) may spend 1 Eye to pose a yes or no question to any player (B) (including themselves)
and remove
If they answered “yes†(or alike), the player who asked the question also gains 1 Eye.
makes it less costly to ask questions. could also consider forcing people to answer questions by deducting eyes until they answer (lose 1 when you ask, gain 2 when you answer)

Enact a rule entitled “Connections”:
The degree of separation between two Wikipedia posts is defined as the shortest number of inter-Wikipedia links it takes to get from one Wikipedia post to another without retracing any steps. (See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Six_degrees_of_Wikipedia for more info).
Once per change of image, a player may post a story post with the title “Connections”, and within the body of the post reveal the degree of separation between their current image and their style. (http://beta.degreesofwikipedia.com/ is really helpful for this) Any player who does so gains 2 eyes. If it can be shown that a player revealed an incorrect degree of separation, that player becomes Impossible.

Enact a new subrule of “Hints” entitled “Obfuscated”:
If the numbers corresponding to each distinct letter of a Player’s Style is in their Hints, then they achieve victory. For the purposes of this rule, “A” corresponds to 1, “B” to 2, “C” to 3, and so on; diacritics in a Style should be ignored. This rule defers to all others.
