I intend to become a Captain.
I promise to:
-always ahoy
-call hunts most of the time
-not change derrick’s or Cuddlebeam’s position if they perform their duties adequately (scrubbing, joining hunts if healthy…)
-scrub the decks whenever I can
-generally work toward the preservation of the ship and the lives of sailors, and maximizing profits
I suggest a vow system, much like Agora’s Pledges or the Promise system during my dynasty. If its assured you’re going to do it, then it’s really no loss on your behalf to be bound to it.
Well there’s always the loss of credibility for future dynasties.
In this case, if I break the promises, you can mutiny or elect a new captain.

BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
