What’s the idea behind this? It looks tactical, but I don’t understand what you’re trying to achieve.

It is hard to imagine a circumstance where this is a better deal than just Frenzying down to being non-Bloodthirsty and then paying 2 for a normal Distill.

Perhaps this is an attempt at a scam in which Bloodthirsty Vampire Lords can Distil despite not being able to afford the Influence cost? If so, I don’t think it works, but you can sort-of read the rule as though the Influence cost is a restriction.

Also, “their Puissance instead set to 1” is missing a verb, and the second instance of “Bloodthirsty Vampire Lord” should be plural.

Finally, Distilling is not actually a Power Action, so the rule as written has no referent.

I don’t see any reason anyone would ever use this; it costs a minimum of 13 Puissance, as opposed to 9 for Blood Frenzy + Distil.
