If “Tic Tac Town’’ was not enacted, enact it.
Delete the fourth paragraph of the rule “Tic Tac Town”.
Change the second paragraph in the rule “Tic Tac Town” to read:
Each Building in Tic Tac Town has the following characteristics: a name, an action, a Maximum Occupancy, which must be an integer between 1 and 3 inclusive, a Current Occupancy, and a Cell. A Building’s Cell and Current Occupancy default to empty.
To “The Grid”, add:
A cell is considered free if it is empty or if it has less symbols than the maximum occupancy of a building associated with that Cell. If a cell has exactly as many symbols as the maximum occupancy of the building associated with it (or 1 if there is no building associated with it), it is considered full. If a cell has more symbols than would be considered full, it is invalid. If a cell is invalid, any player should set it to empty.
Each individual cell on The Grid may be referred to as “Cell XY”, where Y is the number of the row it sits on (ordered from top to bottom) and X is the letter of the English alphabet with the index of the column the cell sits on (ordered from left to right).
Before the last paragraph of the rule “Tic Tac Town”, add the following:
As a daily action, a player may change the Cell of an existing Building from empty to any cell on the Grid that is not already assigned to a Building.
In “Tic-Tac-Toe Rules”, replace “A valid move consists of replacing exactly one blank cell on the board with your symbol.” with
A valid move consists of adding your symbol to exactly one free cell, (removing ‘_’ if it is in that cell)
If “Triple Threat” was not enacted, then in the rule “Tic-Tac-Toe Rules”, replace “complete row of their symbol” with
unbroken row of (not invalid) cells containing their symbol
If “Triple Threat” was enacted, then in the rule “Tic-Tac-Toe Rules” replace “an unbroken vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row of three or more of their symbol” with
an unbroken vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row of three or more of (not invalid) cells containing their symbol
If we’re building things and assigning an occupancy, may as well may complete bricks of the board more difficult to achieve. Plus, if the grid is our “physical” space, we should really be building onto it, no?

the problem with putting things on the grid is that when the grid is incremented/decremented/reset to 3x3 the coordinates will be incorrect / be off the grid entirely
