Proposal: Clarifying values

In rule 3.3.1, substitute the first paragraph with:

* If a set of valid values is not specified in their definition, game variables defined to hold numeric values can hold only non-negative integers. Any action that would set those values below zero is an illegal action unless explicitly otherwise stated in the ruleset.
* Any situation which would require a roll of DiceX when X is zero or lower always yields a value of 0 unless stated otherwise.

I think it needs clarifying.

I’m not sure it makes it any clearer.
As far as I am concerned, the current definition
“Unless otherwise specified, game variables defined to hold numeric values can hold only non-negative integers, and any action that would set those values below zero is an illegal action unless explicitly otherwise stated in the ruleset.”

means no more than “If you forgot to specify what your variable was, then it’s a non-negative integer.”

Your new version is a bit more complicated, for instance we could argue whether stating a variable is an integer is equivalent to specifying a set of valid values for that variable.

Also please don’t deference on me regarding non-dynastic matters!

for Afaik, this won’t change anything, but it will split a bigger paragraph in two more concise ones. That’s good.
