BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
BlogNomic is powered by pMachine ExpressionEngine.

Ah, I’m afraid this isn’t a legal proposal: it needs to be put in the “proposal” category so that the blog engine can track it properly. It’s almost traditional to make this mistake with your first proposal, and everyone makes it from time to time, even the veterans. (If you realise this mistake within 15 minutes it’s legal to just change the category, but not beyond that.)
Maybe we just need a rule saying that the Emperor can put proposal-looking posts into the proposal category, or something, really.
There are a couple of other common pitfalls listed in the new player guide.
