Change Rule 1.1 to be the following text

This is the ‘’‘Ruleset’‘’ for BlogNomic; all Individuals shall obey it. The Sections and their purpose are
;Section One: Rules that are necessary for passing proposals and handling Victory.
;Section Two: Rules of the current Dynasty.
;Section Three: Rules which apply in special cases.
;Section Four: Rules which complements and clarifies the Ruleset.

The Ruleset and Gamestate can only change as specified by the Ruleset.

Individuals may correct obvious spelling and typographical mistakes in the Ruleset and their own Pending Proposals at any time, including replacing gender-specific pronouns with the singular “they” or “them” as appropriate.

If the Ruleset does not properly reflect all legal alterations, any Individual may update it.

trying to lessen the core rules wordcount. the current rule is 121 words (counted using vim) and this only has 113 words. there would have been more saved but i realized the gendered pronoun replacement wasn’t quite correct: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_personal_pronouns#Complete_table taking a look at this table, “he” and “she” would certainly turn into “they” but “him” and “her” should turn to “them”. correcting “i know him” to “i know they” doesn’t actually correct anything.
removed the bit about Spavick since i’ve yet to see a rule that included it
split the first paragraph into easier to digest and simpler but, still accurate, explanations for the rules

here’s how it looks https://wiki.blognomic.com/index.php?title=Sandbox&oldid=8783

...This is a measly reduction and the only wording change I actually agree with is cutting Spivak from the ruleset entirely.

Removing the anti-Spivak clause because you haven’t seen any Spivak around here is like the old elephant repellent joke.

There’s something of a tradition of using Spivak on other Nomics (and we used it here for a long time): the kind of person who would write rules in Spivak is the kind of person who would read Rule 1.1 in full and understand not to.

Editting core rules is very delicate, but I appreciate the effort.  against  arrow

For the reasons stated above. Also, the phrase “singular ‘they’ ” arguably includes the inflected forms of “they”, such as “them”, “their” and “themselves”/“themself”; mentioning them all would probably be too much.
