Proposal: Detention Reform

Passes 11-0. —Brendan

Reword the rule “Detention” as follows:

If a Student has been in Detention for more than seven days, they may, as a weekly action, remove one Grudge held against them by any one Teacher.

If a Student is in Detention for three weeks without interruption then they become a Ghost.

So to get in, you get snitched on or get a grudge from every teacher; to get out, you have to do chores for your dorm’s teacher, and if you got in because of grudges you have to wait at least a week first.

Doesn’t this remove the mechanism for getting out of Detention?

See rule 2.5.1.  I had the same issue as Kevan with the “one week from the action that put them in Detention” mechanism—it’s hard to pin down.
