change:
To Erode an Island is to reduce the value of each of its Levels by 1 (to a minimum of zero), then to remove all zero-value Levels from its Topology which have only zero-value Levels or no Levels above them.

We should probably just remove all the monuments from the game state, right?

Floods destroying Monuments is already the case, isn’t it? The Flood will “set the values of all tracked gamestate information (except Topology) for all Islands to their new-player default values” - the new player default for Monuments is not having any.

Aren’t monuments tracked in topology?

I don’t think so, they just get tracked in the same space:

“All Islands have a topology, which is a list of levels. A level is an integer number, and may be referred to by its position in the list.”

“Monuments held by each Island are tracked by adding their name in square brackets after the land value of that level in the Land column on the Great Sea page of the wiki.”

Topology is explicitly a list of integer numbers.

against cause no one else has voted on this and so if we really want it it should get reproposed and actually discussed
