Isn’t the first part already covered? If a Room has a Staircase, and an Exit Direction of Up or Down, then just Walking/Fleeing Up/Down uses the staircase.

And the second part implies that staircase is sort of a room, while the current rules indicate that staircase may be contained in a room.

Also, “Plan Action” is “Planned Action”.

You still have several hours to completely rewrite this proposal, including the title, if you want to propose something else without wasting a slot.

Denoting floors is a good point. It might help to decide if we want to define them in some way and limit connections between floors to up/down links, or if we’re fine with Katastrophe throwing out a casual “going east from the Basement now takes you to the Rooftop”.

I’m fine with the latter, personally. Maybe not at first, but twisted geometries would kind of fit the setting.

I just thought that since we have “Up & Down” define that it would be good to use them.
