if the proposal titled do cave men want stuff or not is what i ask failed, this proposal does nothing.
make a new subrule to the rule called stuff and call this subrule how to get stuff and make it say this…
any cave man can get a rock by banging his head against a mountain. then he has to lower his smartness in the g n d t by 1 for each rock that he gets this way because banging your head on rocks makes you dumb. he can get as many rocks as he wants as long as he has the smartness to do this.
any cave man can get a stick by climbing a tree. then he has to lower his smartness in the g n d t by 1 for each stick that he gets this way because cave men always fall out of the tree and bonk their head and that makes them dumb. he can get as many sticks as he wants as long as he has the smartness to do this.
I’m thinking that we can use sticks and rocks to make stuff together for the good of the tribe, and that once we learn to make fire, it’ll take a certain amount of rocks and sticks to build a specific fire, etc. Sticks can be used to build better houses. Or a rock can be used to sharpen a stick, which can be used for hunting (hunting proposal in the works), and hunting animals can get even more stuff like bones and sharp teeth and furs and meat. Once we invent axes and picks and chainsaws and jackhammers and lathes and dynamite it might not be so headachey to get sticks and rocks.
