Declaration of Victory: I stand defeating

Number of Townspeople not voting AGAINST is less than Quorum. Failed by Kevan. Remember that “When a DoV is failed, if it had at least one AGAINST vote, the Townsperson who posted it cannot make another DoV until after 120 hours (5 days) have passed since the time their DoV was failed.”

I believe I have achieved victory as I have achieved a standing of 5 or higher and that is higher then the standing of any other Townsperson.

against Only because I’m not 100% sure if you can pray while the Day of Observance is nigh. If you can I’ll change my vote.

Actually, I had the same thought AFTER I declared and everything. I am unsure.

What is the exact moment the season changes? I know I have implied in the other post that it is the moment an admin unnighes the DoO-post, but on the other hand in the DoO post the Season end is stated.

against Yes, as it says in the sidebar, we’re still clearly in Summer, and you’d already prayed in Summer, on the 23rd. The Season only advances when a Day of Observation stops being Nigh.

(That was a simultaneous comment rather than a response.) I think “The current Season is listed under the item “Current Season” in the sidebar template of the Blognomic blog.” is unambiguous: it still says “Summer” right now.

The DoO post doesn’t change anything, it just has the poster “mention” that a Season has “ended”, which isn’t defined as meaning anything.

against Mm, the season doesn’t change until the post is un-nigh.

As an aside, readings are triggered by DoO posts rather than season changes, so there’s a good chance that this hiatus may mean we don’t get one this autumn.

@Josh: That honestly was not my intention.

against per everyone else

If I understand the rules correctly, a DoV cannot be s/ked, right?

Oh well, I hope I’m online at the right moment in the next two or three days… :)

Hm, am I wrong or could this be failed now by an admin? Who could then unnigh the DoO-post?
