Proposal: I’m Richardo

Enacted 5-0. Josh

In “The Crypt of Dracula”, change

Room names may not contain the word “Dracula”.

to

Room names may not contain the word “Dracula”, nor the word “Richardo”.

In “Victory”, change

No Vampire Lord may have the name Dracula.

to

No Vampire Lord may have the name Dracula, nor the name Richardo.

in “Crypt Denizens”, change

(which cannot be nor contain “Dracula”)

to

(which cannot be nor contain “Dracula” nor “Richardo”)

“Richardo von Nestor” is occasionally abbreviated to just “Richardo” in the rules. If someone created another entity named Richardo, these references would become ambiguous, possibly breaking parts of the ruleset.

I can’t figure out a useful way to scam this, so I’m closing the loophole just in case someone else can.

Note that our emperor Josh is not prohibited from being named as Richardo by this: Dynastic Distance prevents him being in the set of Vampire Lords who are banned from being Richardo.

1) Probably good to rule all Vampire Lords which contain Richardo too

2) Do we want to while we’re at it add a rule that says “Yes, Richardo is Richardo Von Nestor”?

1) seems like a slight improvement, but I’m finding it hard to word the resulting rule in a way that’s unambiguous and not horrible, so I’m not sure the improvement is worth the wording issues.

As for 2), where should it go in the ruleset? There’s no obvious place, given that Richardo von Nestor is defined in a core rule rather than a dynastic rule.
