Proposal: Interdimensional rivalry

1. In rule 2.10 (“Position and Prominence”), insert at the end of the first paragraph a new sentence—
The Universe has a Universal Prominence, tracked on the Scientists page, which is the sum of the Prominence scores of all Scientists.
2. At the end of rule 2.3 (“Divergence”), insert a new paragraph—
A Scientist cannot achieve Victory unless their Universe has a higher Universal Prominence score than the other Universe.
I’m not yet proposing an explicit victory condition, and it might be rather early for that anyway… But I’d like to emphasise the “Universes opposed” competitive aspect, as well as possible benefits in collaborating within Universes.
The reference to “The Universe” is, of course, to each Ruleset’s own (after Divergence). If any rule needs to refer to two Universes, it either belongs to the Paradynastic Ruleset or it needs some kind of exception granted by such a Paradynastic Rule.
As I have a mild preference for the co-op inflection, and also think that it’s word having the ruleset pull in two distinct directions at once.
