What about the other contest you didn’t award a prize to? You can’t give Subrincator funds for his entry and ignore the other one without good reason just becuase Subrincator raised a fuss.

FWIW, Clucky, I intend to propose 75 funds your way as soon as I have a proposal slot open.  Your boat was clearly superior to my ski.  Or, if you propose it, I’ll vote for.

Nevertheless, it seems reasonable for Josh to respond when someone “raises a fuss,” as I did and as you are now doing.

I’d still like to see some sort of acknowledgment of who did (or didn’t win) that other contest before Josh gives funds to just yours. If he makes a proposal giving me or you said funds or says he didn’t like either enough, I’ll switch my vote on this one.

Neither of you lost funds on the transport contest so I’m more sanguine about not having adjudicated it.

Part of the strategy in the dynasty is choosing which contests you go after and how much effort you put into it. It makes more sense for me to enter a contest with a standard reward and create an entry I think can win the bonus reward given the other entries than for me to just enter one with a bonus reward that I may or may not win.

If you want to refund Subrincinator his funds, that is one thing. If you really wouldn’t have said anyone won the transport contest, that is one thing. But giving a reward after the fact for one contest and not another just because one contest had a standard reward is setting a double standard.
