Replace the text “Each Character other than the Narrator may, no more than three times per week,” in the sub-rule titled “Plot Summary” with “Each Character other than the Narrator may, as a daily action,”.
Replace the text “Any Character may, as a weekly action,” in the sub-rule titled “Random Occurrences” with “Any Character may, no more than 3 times per week,”.
This kinda has a dual purpose: the allow more posting and to encourage more posting.
I see your point Yoda, but by the same token this in no way changes the race-to-the-finish dynamic of the dynasty which is a bit underwhelming.
Now, of course, it is our obligation as players to make things more interesting via rule changes; I, of course, cannot be blamed for not trying. ;)
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
