Proposal: Let’s sweep the deck!

In the rule “Personal Belongings” replace:

GNDT field â€œItemsâ€

with

BlogNomic Wiki page “Items”

and in the rule “Salvaging” replace:

GNDT comment field

with

BlogNomic Wiki page “Items”

If the BlogNomic Wiki page “Items” exists, blank it, otherwise create it.
Make an entry for each Survivor and list the items the Survivor possesses.
Delete the GNDT column “Items”.

The GNDT gets a little bit clogged…. If Kevan’s Clue proposal passes, we can think about putting these there, too.

The wording’s a bit unfortunate here, because it blanks the Items page but then adds only an entry for each Item a Survivor possesses. By the time this proposal was enacted it might be the case that one or more Items had been Thrown Off Board and we would then have no record of such an Item’s abilities. (Same applies to Items held by Idling players.)

Not sure I follow Bateleur’s objection (since the “Ideas” page remains intact), but I don’t see any problem with the way we’re using the GNDT, either. We have a bit of sidebar for tracking player-related gamestate, and having that being slightly bloated by lengthy item titles doesn’t seem as bad as hiding the whole thing away on a different web page.
