In the definition for the keyword Slack, replace “Hackers” with “Anyone”, and remove “while logged in”. Append to the definition:
If a Hacker has an account on the Slack, their Slack username should be as close to their BlogNomic username as possible. Slack usernames are editable, and only need to be unique within the BlogNomic Slack.
Appeasing the Emperor.
I support the first change but oppose the second. Advertising the Slack thing in the ruleset is fine, but adding regulations as if it were Gamestate (even a toothless ‘should’ clause) seems wholly unnecessary.
If it’s not part of the day-to-day game then it does seem like it’s better off in the sidebar and the FAQ.
Actually I haven’t vetoed anything this dynasty, and it feels like this might be my last chance, so WHAM 
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
