Proposal: Marketplaces

If the proposal “Merchants” has passed, this proposal does nothing.
Create a new rule “Marketplaces” with the following text:
If there is no valid Marketplace Post, any Acting Merchant may post a story post with the current season and the word “Marketplace” in the title. This post is considered the valid Marketplace Post until the season in its title is no longer the current season, after which it is considered invalid. At any time, there may only be 1 valid Marketplace Post.
Any Acting Merchant may post comments in the valid Marketplace Post. If a comment contains an unambiguous offer for a trade of non-Human non-Plague things between the commenting Townsperson and another Acting Merchant, it is considered an Offer. If a comment unambiguously accepts an Offer made previously in the same valid Marketplace Post, then the trade offered in the Offer can be enacted by the Acting Merchant accepting the Offer by changing the GNDT to reflect the trade. Such a trade can only exchange non-Human non-Plague things between exactly two different Acting Merchants, the one who made the Offer and the one who accepted it. No Townsperson can gain anything by a trade that the other Townsperson involved does not loose by the trade.
In the rule “Workplaces”, add as a new paragraph after the second:
If the Workplace or the Acumen is denoted with a star next ot it, the Townsperson is considered an Acting Merchant. Whenever an Acumen is replaced with a Workplace or vice versa, a star that was denoted next to it is to be kept, except a rule requires the star to be removed.
In the rule “Workplaces”, change “Then, the Townsperson who called the Day of Observance removes the Workplace and Acumen of every Townsperson.” to
Then, the Townsperson who called the Day of Observance removes the Workplace and Acumen of every Townsperson, including the stars denoting Acting Merchants and he adds a star to the Acument of every Townsperson whose Workplace has been the Trading Post at this Day of Observance.
In the rule “Workplaces”, at the end of the bullet point list, add as a new bullet point:
Trading Post (Aspiring Merchant): Nothing happens.
Although I tried to be really thorough, I just have to hope I have not missed a loophole. I hope this allows for almost any trade except Humans and Plagues, if both Merchants agreed, but nothing more. Really interested in loopholes, feel free to post them.
But only because the person accepting a trade does not need to be the person affected by it.

Bit strange that someone else can accept it for you.

What if there are multiple people accepting the same offer?

In my humble opinion, should refer to the Workplace or the Acumen of that Townsperson specifically.

totally different meaning than “except if a rule requires the star to be removed.” Whoops.
The Trading Post mechanic is great. Good job.
