To the second paragraph of Synthesis, add:-
If there are one fewer Submissions than the number of Healthy Genetic Engineers, then the Head Researcher is encouraged to publicly remind the remaining Engineer (on Discord or the blog) that they need to submit a Mutation.
Correct assumption!
My intention with the “encouraged” is that it also permits the action to be taken, but precedent is inconsistent even across the current ruleset (some actions are “can and should”, others just “should”).
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.

I’ve been operating under the assumption that under the current ruleset I’m not supposed to reveal which players still need to submit a Mutation (on the grounds that it’s privately tracked information). If that’s the case, would a rule like this where I’m “encouraged” to reveal that information make it legal to do so?
