Proposal: Pedantry about the Great Old Ones

It seems to me that the prerequisites in the rule about Great Old Ones are intended to put conditions on switching allegiance rather than sustaining it.  The Cthulhu wording leaves no ambiguity on this, but the sections for Nyarlothotep and Azahoth could be interpreted as denying a Student the right to continue serving eir master if eir Mythos or Sanity levels change.  This is a fix.

In Rule 2.12.3, change

A student must have a sanity below -8 and a Mythos of at least 10 to serve Nyarlothotep

to

A student must have a sanity below -8 and a Mythos of at least 10 to begin serving Nyarlothotep.

Similarly, in Rule 2.12.4, change

A student must have a sanity below -40 to serve Azathoth

to

A student must have a sanity below -40 to begin serving Azathoth.

against I think Cthulhu should be rewritten. I like how you need a certain amount of insanity to serve the Great Old Ones.

That how I intended it. I made a bit of a mistake with Cthulhu because of the astrological requirement, so the first begins should be removed.

Yeah, I think anyone sane enough would stop serving someone, or at least azathoth, considering if you go too insane you HAVE to serve him.  I think if you regain sanity, you no longer serve Azathoth, but anyone else i’m not so sure.
