If the proposal “There’s more than one of everything” has been Enacted—

1. In the rule “Portal”, at the end of the first paragraph—

The two Universes are currently separate and considered to be functionally identical.

insert—

The text of the rule “Divergence” shall be interpreted, for the purpose of play, to mean nothing.

This whole paragraph will be removed once the Portal opens; I want this to be a stronger safeguard for “Divergence”.

2. Move the subrule “Divergence” to after the rule “The Universes” (so that it is a separate rule) and amend it as follows.

For the first paragraph substitute—

When a Portal is created between the Universes, Divergence is understood to occur. This means that the two Universes diverge at an accelerated pace, and conditions in them are no longer functionally identical.
