Proposal: Religious Society

Self-killed. Failed by Kevan.

Enact a new Rule, “Holy War”, with the following text:-

If there are at least three Priests, a Super Quorum of Townspeople have Workplaces, and a Quorum of Townspeople have two money, and if a certain Respectable Townsperson has more Furnitures and more Moneys than every other Townsperson, then that Respectable Townsperson has achieved Victory.

In the subrule Autumn/Fall, reword “Any Townsperson may get married if they have never done so and have at least three Moneys.” to the following:-

Any Townsperson may get married if they have never done so and they have at least three Moneys, and if there is at least one Priest.

Let’s just go for it. Should be too hard to achieve, for now.

I think normally marriages are overseen by Priests.

against I think that with the slower pace of this Dynasty it’s way too early to have victory conditions.
Also, I don’t like that it is linked to a resource (Furniture) that currently is only obtainable through grinding.

I’d rather see a victory condition linked to the astrology mechanics than the worker-placement mechanics.

against mainly per Brendan; this dynasty should be way more mystical than it is.

imperial I think it’s up to the Astrologer to decide about that.

against Victory being triggered mid-round (“a Super Quorum of Townspeople have Workplaces” will happen every round) seems odd.

against Not that odd. I would think you would want to go to war while the society is strong and a lot of people have work, which can fluctuate.
