Proposal: Research Interests

Add a new rule, “Pursuits”:

Each Caveman has one Pursuit, which denotes the subjects they want to learn more about and is tracked in the gndt. The three pursuits are: knowledge, art and progress. New Cavemen receive random Pursuits.

Cavemen with the pursuit knowledge may be referred to as Philosophers. Cavemen with the pursuit art may be referred to as Connoisseurs and Cavemen with the pursuit progress may be referred to as Utilitarians.

Add to the bulleted list in “Science!”:

Field. Each Research Project must indicate to which pursuit it applies most.

Give each Caveman a random Pursuit. Set the Field of the Research Projects ‘Making Pointy Sticks’ and ‘Bashing Rocks’ to progress, ‘thinking hard’ and ‘basic plant knowledge’ to knowledge and ‘rhyming’ and ‘cave painting’ to art.

I don’t have to explicitly mention DICE rolls here because random assignment is handled by the glossary.
