In the rule “Standing”, change the sentence
If a Townsperson has a Standing of five or more, and a Standing higher than every other Townsperson, that Townsperson has achieved victory.
to
If a Townsperson has a Standing of five or more, and his or her Standing was higher than every other Townspersons Standing for the last 24 hours or more, that Townsperson has achieved victory.
Right now, praying is a very reliable source of standing increase. Praying can be done once per season. Season’s change by admins “unneighing” a Day of Observance post. Meaning that admins have a much higher chance of being online when the season changes and thus being first in achieving the fifth standing point by praying.
This shouldn’t depend on an administrative role!
more so based on me not remembering what happens when a proposal tries to rewrite a rule that no longer has the sentence in question. Ely’s proposal, which should pass, is changing every five in standing to six.
It simply does nothing.
