Proposal: The Ghost of Rockschool

To the first paragraph of the rule “Assets”, add:-

New Musicians start with no Assets. If a Musician has no Assets, they may gain an Asset of their choice from those available.

In the same rule, replace “If the Band does not include at least one member who owns a specific type of Asset, then any Hanger On who owns that type of Asset may chance the Respect of a Band Member to any other Band Member at any time” with:-

If a Hanger On possesses an Asset which no Band Member possesses, then that Hanger On may change the Respect of any Band Member to any other Band Member

Giving a way to gain Assets, and sharpening the wording of their usage. (Not sure if Josh meant the final “Band Member” to say “Musician” there, but that’s a different issue.)

“Available” refers to “A list of all available Assets follows:” rather than the assets which have not yet been taken.

If I understand well, the Assets are not exclusive. Two Musicians can own a Groupie Magnet at the same time.

Allocating the assets seems a bit dry, but I can’t come up with a better alternative.

I’m pretty sure allocating assets like this will basically be people trying to get assets the band doesn’t have and then the band reacting, then people going for assets the band doesn’t have, etc….
