To the first paragraph of “Clients”, add:-
A Client’s Villainy is a numerical value equal to the position that their Reputation appears in the bracketed list of Reputations in this paragraph.
To the first paragraph of “Cases”, add:-
The Parties of a Case are its Plaintiff and its Defendant. Each Party of a Case has an amount of Guilt within that Case, tracked privately by the Judge.
Add three new bullet point after the fourth in Cases:-
* Assign an amount of Guilt for this Case to each of the Case’s Parties, where the amount chosen is a secretly random number between 0 and the Party’s Villainy.
* If both Parties’ Guilts for a Case are equal, increase one of them (chosen at secretly random) by 1.
* For every Attorney who represents a Party in the Case, privately inform that Attorney of the Guilt for that Party in this Case
If any Cases already exist, set the Guilts of both their Parties for that Case to 0 and enact a new rule called “Just One More Thing”:-
If both Parties of a Case have a Guilt of zero, the Judge may assign an amount of Guilt to each of the Case’s Parties for that Case, where the amount chosen is a secretly random number between 0 and the Party’s Villainy. (If both Parties’ Guilts for a Case are equal, the Judge must increase one of them (chosen at secretly random) by 1.) Then, for any Attorney who represents a Party in that Case, the Judge must privately inform that Attorney of the Guilt for that Party in that Case.
If no Cases have a Guilty of zero for both Parties, the Judge may repeal this rule.
Adding a secret score for who is actually at fault in a case, known only to the Judge and the representing Attorneys (if any). Including a clause to backdate this for any Cases created while this proposal is pending.
