Proposal: Trust the stars

Over 48 hours old and, at 3-5, cannot be enacted. Failed by Brendan.

Add a subrule to the rule entitled Readings, called Destiny:

The first Townsperson to have a Fate higher than 5 has carried out their destiny, and has achieved Victory.

I am not sure right now how to understand the rule “Readings”. The Astrologer needs to set out predictions for “each Constellation in each Sign Position.” That’s a lot of predictions, right?

I’m kind of confused that meeting 1 of the three predictions each Townsperson has to strive for is worse then meeting 0 of them.

(Disclaimer: I know that Josh is the Astrologer and I’m currently voting for this unless he changes his vote. ;-))

against At least until we’ve seen what Readings look like. Otherwise this is quite the leap of faith.

Also, since both ways we have to assign Fate (Reading and Prophecies - if Fatalism passes) assign Fate to several Townspeople at the same time, a “The first Townsperson to reach…” condition is less than ideal.
Maybe add a clause that they need to have more Fate than any other non-Astrologer Townsperson? (in addition of a fixed value to be reached, and removing the word “first”)
Or you may add a tiebreaker, like Money, or Humans at Home, or something.
