The minimum bid increment (MBI) for auctions is 10% of the current highest bid, or $1, whichever is higher. Bids must increment by at least the MBI.
Otherwise the auction minigame kind of devolves into “who is the most active when the auction is about to end” to add that teensy $1 more lol.
So if someone makes a bid that doesn’t increment by the right amount it is just invalid? I’m not sure this actually says that in so many words.
Actually I wonder the same thing as Oracular rufio…
I understand that a bid that doesn’t meet the criteria is NMOT a bid by definition, then..
I propose we fail this and then rewrite.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
