Add a new dynastic rule titled “Coup d’Bucky” as follows
The Driver known as Bucky may, as a weekly action, (provided he is not the Dispatcher) achieve victory.
No need for one of these, when a) the dynasty’s going to end in a couple of weeks at the current rate and people are still enjoying it, and b) I’m winning.
Also, potentially broken; I’m sure I could find a group of people I could convince that I was called Bucky (say, by signing up on an unrelated forum or that name); the rule is missing a “commonly” or the like.
If you really want this dynasty to end sooner, why not relax the win condition instead?
I can’t understand why so many people say they want this to end, or why the discussions about Highway Routes’ Scouting Cost and the victory condition got so strained. This is the first time I play a nomic, and I’m enjoying it a lot.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
The game has been running since 2003 and resets every month or so. Have a look around the wiki for more information and history. New players are always welcome and can join in the game at any time.
