Proposal: Making this a little more winable…

Add a new subrule to “Routes” called “Village” with the following text

A Village Route has a scouting cost of 10. When a Driver Drives a Village Route, they make the first two inactive routes in their pool become active. Village Routes become Blocked instead of Inactive when Driven.

Currerntly, even if you manage to get 5 golden routes you need them, or highway routes to come up in your RA draw in order to drive all five. This lets you drive more than five non-highway route in a single round.

@Prince Anduril: Highway Routes give you an extra Cash and make you choose which Route to Activate. Village Routes make your pool switch from 5 Active Routes to 6 Active Routes.

I’ll vote later, I don’t know what to think right now.

I strongly encourage you all to vote AGAINST; this is dangerously grindy, and by that I mean it’s scammable in a slow and painful way.  It’s better to change Golden Routes.

Costing 10 is hardly scammable. Sure if you build up enough of them you can probably get a complete set of dailys in but that will take a while .

@Clucky: The problem comes a bit later when you can stop Requesting Assignment and just drive all the time.

Except they become blocked when used, as do highway routes. Yes, this might let you go longer than a week between requests but eventually all your “unlock more routes” routes will be blocked and you’ll need to Request Assignment.
