In the sub-rule “Battle Actions”, to the end of the Human Battle Action “Retreat” add the following:
If any Adventurer is Retreating when a Battle ends, they cease to be Retreating.
“I intended to stay hidden anyway, so what difference does it make if the Monster’s changed?” A big one, I’d say.
Exactly. Should an Adventurer’s last action in a Battle be Retreat, and should that Adventurer not be the next Monster, that would mean that the Adventurer in question would still be Retreating at the beginning of the next Battle and therefore shielded from at least one attack.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.

Sure. I don’t get the comment text, though. Who is the speaker in the quotes? Nobody is retreating, so this is just patching it for next battle?
