Proposal: Worshippers

Passed 7-0, reaches quorum. Enacted by Angry Grasshopper.

[ Just wording the City-conversion in a nicer way, really. ]

To Rule 2.7 (“Cities”), reword the first paragraph to:-

Each City in the history of the world has a Name, Founder, Dominant Pantheon and optional Description. A Deity may create a City by spending a point of Quintessence and adding the City to the Cities Wiki - they are its Founder, and may choose its Name, Dominant Pantheon and Description.

Reword Rule 2.7.1 (“Conversion”) to:-

Each Pantheon has a number of Worshippers in a given City, at any one time, added together from the following types:-

  • 50 Settler Worshippers if the Founder Deity is of that Pantheon.

  • 100 Resident Worshippers for every Temple of that Pantheon in that City.

  • 100 Pilgrim Worshippers for every other City which has that Pantheon as its Dominant one.

If a Pantheon has more Worshippers in a City than any other Pantheon, any Deity may change the Dominant Pantheon of that City to become that Pantheon.

I like the idea, as I would like to have some more objects in the game that all of the players can interact with. Lots of bookkeeping, though.

It’s not really bookkeeping, or adding anything to the game, it’s just a different way of wording “most temples in the city, plus one pseudo-temple for other cities, plus, oh, half a temple for having created the city”.

I suppose.  My objection was more thematic, but I’m not really AG, am I?
