Given your recent efforts, I assume that this is intended to knock out a tile that is made of a material other than stone, which thus can’t be reworked?

If so then it’s cheap; setting up a tile with a natural colour is expensive and time consuming, and having the ability to just nuke them without any real cost is unreasonable. Come up with something fair.

This is as much a reward for setting up a new natural colour tile: the first time you do it, you get to place a second.

And the number of times people can “just nuke them” is more or less limited to the number of unused colours - currently just five.

Still cheap. Would be just as much a reward if it only copied to backing, and wouldn’t have the effect of directly attacking another player.

On second thought, I think that changing any tile is indeed too strong.

I don’t see this as being very strong when it can only happen a handful of times in the game, and (for most colours) high cost to the Sparker, but “Josh feels very threatened by this” is useful information to have revealed. (For players who aren’t on Slack, Josh invited Maris and Raven to reassess their votes on this proposal, there, shortly before they changed their minds.)

Sure; the bit where you are pointedly not making any overt moves towards your Desideratum while sitting on a huge warchest of Guilders is not ideal for anyone who isn’t you.

[Josh] I’m not sure how that connects to this proposal, but in terms of warchests your 10 Turn lead on me amounts to more Guilders total.

I like the idea, but I think changing any tile is a bit powerful. This could potentially ruin someone’s plans.
