To the first paragraph of the rule “The Players’ Equipment”, add:-
While the Ball is Out of Play, any Player may trade Shirt numbers with any other Player.
Nope, but if we’re now playing a game of “everybody versus the goalkeeper”, as proposed by the goalkeeper, there should perhaps be a way for the goalkeeper to change.
Person93, well, if that’s what you believe, then by all means vote against this. However, I can tell you that switching a player’s shirt without giving them a say in the matter probably won’t hurt their feelings, and this Proposal is just for another element of strategy in the game. Even the shirt numbers are just strategic elements (although Doc may be in love with his shirt)
As for my vote, life should be fair… BUCKY *cough cough, but I don’t know if this is the best or most realistic way to do it.
I don’t think that the player should be able to outright refuse, perhaps if someone wants to change shirts, they should roll the dice and if they score before a certain number, then the other player has the option to refuse.
BlogNomic is an online Nomic: a self-modifying game where changing the rules is part of the game. Players make blog posts proposing additions or alterations to the ruleset, discussing and casting votes in the comments: if enough vote in favour, the rules are changed and play continues.
