Story Post: Day Fifteen

After the office of None, the Abbot speaks to all of the assembled brothers:

“My brothers in God, our esteemed colleagues from Rome have begun their inquest. If you would individually proceed to the general quarters (where you may find Bruno and Marcello) at your leisure, we must examine each one of you—it is not exactly the case that we suspect your orthodoxy, but we must first take an inventory of the hearts and souls of the brothers at the Monastery.”

“Also welcome our newest brother, may the peace of our Lord be upon him. I ask him now to take a Vow of Silence and congratulate him on his swift obedience.”

The Movement Rule has changed. In synopsis, the squares denoted by ‘&’ are now empty—any Monk may move through them.

Notice: the text

A Monk may not use an encrypted rule until e has obtained the string by messaging the Abbot.

has been removed from the Ruleset. Any Monk may now use an Encrypted Rule without previously having obtained the string from me.

All Monks are requested to come to the Room where Bruno the Witchfinder is standing. Any Monk in that Room may e-mail me (see profile for the address) to send a private communication with your confession, and also indicate any strange behavior that your Monk might have observed about the Monastery. Once enough of such details have been processed, the next stage of the inquest can continue.

Due to a Secret Rule, all Monks lose one point of Integrity. There is a new Cipher in the Codex.

Thanks for sending me everything that I lost so quickly!
