Add a new rule called “Kaiju Cladistics” with the following text:

Each Kaiju has a Type, which defaults to nothing, and for which the valid values are: Mutant, Robot, or Alien; this Type is tracked in the GNDT. If a Kaiju’s Type is nothing, they may set it to Mutant, Robot or Alien at any time.

Add a new rule called “Kaiju Energy” with the following text:

Each Kaiju has an amount of Esteem, which is a nonnegative integer defaulting to 100, and which is tracked in the GNDT. This represents their current standing in the eyes of the Kaiju Court.

Some Kaiju have Secrets, which are one-use abilities that allow them to attack the Esteem of other Kaiju, or defend from such attacks. They bid Esteem among themselves for access to these Secrets, in auctions run by the Attendant. The final bid on a Secret when it is obtained is known as that Secret’s Power.

If a rule called “Alliances” exists, add the following text to it:

A Kaiju may not take any action under a Dynastic Rule if it would reduce the Esteem of their Right Claw or Left Claw.
