In the rule “Treasure Hunt”, replace

The Abbot shall then check a list of secret rules that contain a list of Locations and Items.

with

The Abbot shall then check a list of secret rules that contain a list of Locations and Items, as well as the public list of Locations and Items that is listed as a subsection in this rule.

Add a subsection to the rule “Treasure Hunt” entitled “The Infinite Cache”:

A Monk may occasionally add one item to this list, with its corresponding location, time of day, dice checks, and items required. There shall not be greater than 50% chance of finding any specific item, considering the dice check. The Abbot may often remove one item from this list at no cost. For every additional item e removes, e shall pay a cost of one fitness point, one integrity point, or one knowledge point. The Location shall be specific, at least, to the ASCII character corresponding to a Location. Any item in this list that does not meet these conditions is considered invalid, and cannot be found at the invalid location.

We can hide things too. If there are any problems, though… could you not comment on this, but make a separate post? Thanks.

Too confusing, and too hard on the eyes

for It will be nice to get items that we want.  I don’t see any loopholes, and the Abbot veto helps keep things under control.

Another issue:  You must have a 50% chance of finding it when you do what?  Search a random Map location at a random time?

“considering the dice check”

I’m in favor of the idea, but don’t you think you should have the item first before you can cache it?
