I prefer this mechanic to the other one. Diminishing returns, less swingy, and includes testing. Check, Check, Check.

Math could be cleaned up a little though (in terms of explanation, not mechanics, really).

What you’d want to do is have a log2(Roids) and round that result up, anything else that’s lacking explination?

explanation without using mathematical might be nice: Certainly nothing that will prevent me from voting on it.

1: +0
2: +1
3-4: +2
5-8: +3
9-16: +4
17-32: +5
33-64: +6
65-128: +7
129-256: +8
and so forth.

Although there should probably be some consequences for being found out.

I left that for other people to decide, since I couldn’t think of anything that I liked.

Maybe a fine?  Blogger gets made inactive, meaning you can’t play matches while they are out of action?
