I see no reason why the Shearer wouldn’t steal the wool, then boot himself from the office and then reclaim it.

[Bucky] That seems more like a bug in the Default Sanitiser ability, which I hadn’t noticed - that if you’re kicked out of an office you can immediately reclaim the job because you were “first given permission”, some time previously.

There is a problem but it should be fixed elsewhere.

This is pretty powerful, if people start growing their fleeces, but I suspect they won’t until at least the bug here is fixed (and I have a fix proposal in the queue).

The problem is that this guy can do exactly nothing. and get money for it.

There should at least be some way that a Sheep can get a cut of the profit made off of their own fleece. Besides, some of us have to put in long hours and remain vigilant about our official duties, the Shearer just gets free cash off the hard work of others.

[Travis] I was imagining that some sort of deal would be cut by the players, given that the rules allow money to be exchanged; the Shearer only gets permission if he agrees to pay 1 Baabuck to the Shearee, half of the time, or something.

Seriously though, exchanging money is a weekly action so the Shearer could Shear every Sheep, pocket all the cash, and only pay out a maximum of one payment.
